Is this still the 2012 F1 season?

This season has got to be one of the best recent examples of why F1 teams are so reliant on the development war. Even though they were in wet races, who would have thought that Alonso would get two back-to-back pole positions? But we’re at the halfway point now and there are some trends to  be explored. But it’s best to wait until after the race tomorrow. So expect a season review so far and what we’ve learnt about F1 in 2012 after Hockenheim has been layered with rubber.
